LOCATION: Dalton Business Centre
SOLUTION: Air Conditioning
BACKGROUND:
Austin Broady Air Conditioning and Ventilation were commissioned to design, cost and carry out air conditioning installation works to the RICS North West Awards 2008 Building Conservation winner Dalton Hall Business Centre which has been created from a quadrangle of historic model farm buildings and set in a courtyard design.
Through the initial design stages the clients and landlords needs were taken on board and suitably designed Air Conditioning systems were engineered. The difficulty presented to Austin Broady was how to install state of the art air conditioning and associated services within a building of such character and throughout the installation works great care was carried out to ensure that the aesthetics of the buildings were left as such that the main features of the development were left intact.
AIR CONDITIONING SOLUTION :
Austin Broady Air Conditioning and Ventilation designed two heat recovery VRV systems to meet with the required duties of the development and to provide individual conditioned spaces for each tenant.
The required duties were such that multi-plexed outdoor units were installed.
For the indoor the setting out of the buildings were as such that varying types of indoor units needed to be installed again so as not to take away any of the character of the development.
SUMMARY:
The newly installed air conditioning systems now provide year round temperature control for all the offices and their tenants.
