BACKGROUND:
Magnus UK are a leading commercial office property investment and development company that specialize in the to let / for rent market and they have a number of commercial properties. Austin Broady Air Conditioning and Ventilation have carried out a number of projects within several of these sites.
Most recently we carried out the mechanical services installation for two office suites at South Court, Wythenshawe on behalf of the Landlord.
AIR CONDITIONING SOLUTION :
Based on the requirements of the tenants needs and budgets for both the property management company and the tenant, Austin Broady Air Conditioning designed suitable air conditioning and ventilation systems to meet with the requirements of the tenant’s suites. Varying levels of works were carried out which included the re-location of existing services and equipment and for the supply and installation of new mechanical services and equipment which included heat recovery ventilation systems.
Austin Broady Air Conditioning and Ventilation undertook all works in line with the client’s requirements both for timescales and co-ordination with other key trades and one item of note was that for one of the projects there was a requirement to position the outdoor units at roof level which needed the use of a contract crane lift. The outdoor units were also carefully located onto support systems to protect the integrity of the roof and to allow maintenance access for the roof and the air conditioning units.
SUMMARY:
Upon the successful completion of the projects Austin Broady Air Conditioning and Ventilation took time and care to demonstrate the operations of the systems not only to the client but to the tenants so as to ensure a correct understanding on the concepts of air conditioning.
All the systems installed now provide comfort cooling and heating to the newly re-furbished suites and along with the heat recovery ventilation systems a comfortable environment has now been provided to the suites.
