We provide comprehensive evaporative cooling maintenance and service agreements on all makes of evaporative coolers. It is recommended by manufacturers that evaporative coolers are serviced at least twice a year to comply with ACOPS L8. Our high quality service covers Cheshire, Manchester and across the North-West.
Austin Broady offer evaporative cooler maintenance and servicing agreements on all makes of evaporative coolers, wherever they are situated. This can include:
Access: the coolers, wherever they may be situated. Our engineers will attend with which ever means of access is appropriate.
Clean: your unit thoroughly. Fly screens will be cleaned. We don’t use chemical cleaners, only elbow grease!
Check: the configuration of your evaporative cooler’s parameters and dip switches. We’ll ensure your coolers are configured correctly and running at optimum efficiency, according to water quality and local conditions.
Examine: all moving parts, including vales, pumps, hoses, solenoids and joints for leakage and malfunction. We’ll replace parts when necessary.
Spare Parts: are carried by our engineers who will recommend the best option for you. Any costs for spare parts will be calculated at the manufacturers recommended retail price.
Recommendations: from our engineers for improving yoursystem and likely future replacements or repairs, particularly replacement pads.
Water Isolation: this takes place in autumn to prevent pipes and valves freezing. Turning off the water is necessary to stop damage to the cooler and the building. Our engineers can isolate the water supply to your roof and cooler and where possible, drain down. In the spring our engineers will reconnect your water supply ready for the summer cooling season.
Winter Service: to avoid any problems through frost damage we recommend that the coolers are drained down in autumn and all water services left isolated. This is also a good time to report on any spares, such as pads, that may be required for the following cooling season.
Secure Straps: to protect your unit against extreme weather conditions and prevent unauthorised interference can be installed. Our engineers will assess the type, age and situation of your cooler to determine what is required.
Technical Reports: that detail any servicing, maintenance and replacements of parts which has been carried out are produced by our engineers. We’ll also include any observations and recommendations before leaving your building.
Legionella Risk Assessment: is provided after the evaporative cooling maintenance of your units has been carried out and there are no issues of concern outstanding. This will be valid for one year and fulfils employers’ Health and Safety Commission (HSC) Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) Legionnaires Disease obligations.
Year Round Advice: is available via contact numbers provided by our engineers. Should you be unfortunate enough to suffer a breakdown or alarm warning lights are activated you can receive immediate advice. We’ll try to solve the issue over the phone at no charge, but if a visit is necessary it is prioritised and an engineer will visit when convenient to you. We’ll outline the cost of extra visits in your annual agreement.
24 Hour Response Agreement: is offered alongside contracted visits for evaporative cooler breakdowns in critical areas, such as server rooms.
We’ll be delighted to provide you with an individual quotation for annual evaporative cooler maintenance and servicing.
