This theatre is a small auditorium with the capacity to house approximately 80 people. Guests were starting to complain that temperatures were getting too high. The management committee investigated various different options to try and resolve this problem.
In the end they decided to opt for our suggestion which was to remotely site ducted fan coils and then feed the cooled air through attenuated ductwork.
We were able to achieve 25kW of cooling and heating.
Because the ductwork was lined with sound proofing material, even during the quietest productions, the system can not be heard.
Comment from Jeremy Acklam – Chairman of the Management Committee – “During our recent production of Death of a Salesman it worked brilliantly”.
